The Languedoc 121 Tech website is designed using WordPress and hosted on a server provided by Froggatt Hosting. The server is located in the United Kindgom and is subject to the GDPR rules and regulations regarding privacy within the EU.
When you visit the website, you will be asked to confirm that you have read and accepted the privacy policy. If you do not do that you cannot access the website. If you do, you will be able to access the site.
The site itself uses a number of third-party WordPress plugins, which are used to provide functions like the content form, site stats, and social media sharing. These applications usually require that cookies are stored on your computer. A cookie is a small text file that identifies your computer to the server. It is anonymous and in no way identifies you as an individual and is usually deleted when you leave the website (a “session cookie”.) “Tracking cookies” are sometimes used to identify where you came from and what sites you visited afterwards. This information is not linked to any other personal data about you and is therefore not “used” beyond the purpose of enabling statistical analysis relating to the site’s pages and content.
Languedoc 121 Tech uses Google Analytics and JetPack to generate information about the numbers of new and unique visitors to the site, what pages were visited, how long different pages were viewed, and so on. To collect accurate stats, cookies are used to identify when you first visit the site and then identify you on repeated visits. This information is used to improve the contents of the site by giving direction to my marketing efforts and blog posts that generate the most interest.
This site does not subscribe to any third-party advertising tools.
Social Media Sharing
Facebook pixels are sometimes used to identify who uses the website and who likes my Facebook page. This enables me to create focus my advertising efforst on existing and customers and potential customers. Personal information relating to individuals is not collected.
Managing your Cookies

However, if you block or remove cookies from your computer, the website may not recognise your computer and you may not have access to all parts of this website.
Contact Information
The contact form on this page is designed using a third-party plugin for WordPress. When you submit the form you are required to provide your Name, E-mail address, and Comments. Your website address is optional. This information is then emailed to the Languedoc 121 Tech email account. Your information is then stored as a Contact in my email account address book.
Languedoc 121 Tech does not publish a newsletter or manage a mailing list at this time.
User information that is submitted is never rented, sold or exchanged with other agents or anyone with whom I partner. Your information is never knowingly sold or shared with any third parties.
Website Comments
Comments are enabled for the blog portion of the website and are part of the standard WordPress installation.
This records your comment along with the IP address of the device you used when writing it. This is stored for my security in the event the author enters unlawful content and also to identify known servers (for example, spammers). When you submit a comment your name and email address are required. This information is stored in the WordPress database but not matched to any information that may be collected by other components of the website and is not shared with or sold to third parties.
Third Party Content and Linked Sites
The website may have links to other websites (linked sites), with some information supplied by third parties. This information and the information contained on linked sites, including but not limited to the price of goods and services supplied, is the responsibility of those third parties and you undertake to separately adhere to and review the terms and conditions and privacy statement of those sites. We do not accept any liability in relation to the information or charges of linked sites.
I do not endorse or otherwise recommend any of these third party websites, references, or the products, services, or information there offered. I may disable any hyperlink to the site. I have the right but not the obligation to monitor third party websites and hyperlinks to the site.
Disclosure of Information
There are only two situations where the dislosure of personal information could be considered lawful and necessary, and in both these cases your information would be share:
i) If required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such disclosure is necessary to comply with an order of a court or government authority or a subpoena
ii) If it is necessary to protect my business or the website, such as to enforce the applicable Terms and Conditions, in conjunction with an administrative investigation or legal proceeding.
User Age
This website is intended for use by adults. While children under age 18 are welcome to access this website, consent of a parent or guardian is advisable. The products, services, and content (such as blog posts) are created with adult professionals in mind and marketed towards professionals in business.
Security
The site is secured using standard security protocols. Since users are not asked to share or submit financial or other high-risk personal information, the provision is adequate. In future the site will be migrated from HTTP to HTTPS, in order to protect the minimal information that is exchanged (see above) from any ill-intent.
Your Rights
Under GDPR, you have the right of access to the information stored about you and can also request for it to be deleted at any time. To reiterate, aside from the digital information that is used to enable software tools and for statical analysis (IP and cookies), only the information YOU provide within the contact form is stored and this is not linked to any digital data that is stored.
As a data subject (a real person) your individual rights include: right to be informed; right of access; right to rectification; right to erasure; right to restrict processing; right to data portability; right to object; right to not be subject to automated decision-making (including profiling).

I reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. All registered (paying) customers will be notified. Please check this website regularly for changes. Substantive revisions to this Privacy Policy shall apply only prospectively.
