WordPress Maintenance – WP Care 60 (Yearly Plan)

We update WordPress, along with any plugins and themes.

We always do this in a safe “staging” environment* (essentially a copy of the site), allowing us to test for any compatibility issues before making the updated site “live”.

We create a backup schedule for your site that is based on your plan: daily or weekly.

Backups are stored both on the server with a third-party Cloud provider. You have shared access to the Cloud storage area and are advised to create your own copies of the backups, that you can store locally.

Each month you will receive a report detailing the following:

• the number of backups
• details of all plugin, theme and WP Core updates
• details of any additional work carried out
• SEO, site cleanup and  performance, sales and link monitoring updates (depending on your plan)

We’ll run security scans on your site also monitor the site uptime. Any extended periods (>10 minutes) of downtime will be reported and investigated.

In each monthly report you’ll get an update on the site’s page speed, which will provide insights into areas for improvement. Site speed is important for Google’s Core Web Vitals which focusses in particular on mobile viewing and page load speeds. A slow loading site will lose you visitors.

Support time varies according to your package. This time can be used for content updates and minor layout changes, support calls and training.

Please note: time can only be carried over from month to month for subscribers to the yearly plans.
