Auberge du Noyer – Restaurant and B&B

Project Details

The Auberge du Noyer had been taken over by Shaun and Steve and they had inherited a website along with the business. The original website was built with HTML and was rarely updated. The new owners had done alot of work on their restaurant and rooms business and needed a website that reflected their business. They wanted to keep the original logo so we created a brand and website based around that.

In terms of functionality, they wanted to be able to take restaurant and room reservations online but did not require payment facilities.

They also wanted to be able to promote offers and events and share news and updates.

They have French and English speaking clients so needed a bilingual site.

Tools & Technologies

  • WordPress
  • Hello theme with Elementor Pro
  • Contact forms for restaurant and room reservations (built with Elementor)
  • A blog with specific pages for News and Events.
  • French and English version of the site – using the free Polylang plugin
  • Reviews – using the Stronger Testimonials plugin
  • MailChimp integration

The new owners of the Auberge du Noyer needed a new website that they could update, that would appeal to their English and French-speaking clients and that reflected their brand. We rebuilt the site using WordPress, set up custom inquiry forms, mailing list integration and blog so that they could promote offers and events and keep clients up-to-date with their news.
